I'm sure it has been explained many times - I can post pics off the internet but how do I post pics that are on my computer ? Do I have to put them on a hosting site? If you would all just send me your address I could send post cards- I hate being a techno peasant

You can use a hosting site like imgbb or if they're not too large, just attach them by clicking the Attachments button under the message, then Add Files to add. When you Submit the message it will attach at the bottom.
