I'm pretty sure someone or maybe even someones tried to scam me tonight.
I found this ad on Leolist and tried to make an appointment:
https://www.leolist.cc/personals/female-escorts/greater-toronto/vaughan_i_receive_payment_in_person_and_available_24_7-8104027?source=list
Unfortunately I deleted the texts out of disgust when I was certain it was a scam, or I'd post them here. But here is the gist of what wend down:
Found the ad on LeoList. Texted for an appointment. There was no issue with communication. Set up an appointment for 6:30. Was told to text when I arrive to get the buzz code and apt. number (which I find is typical - many times for me before). So I headed out. Said I'd be 5 minutes late on the way due to traffic. Got a response no problem.
Arrived at Centro Square Condos at 3600 Hwy 7 and texted that I was trying to find parking. Got a text asking how am I paying? And my answer was 'Cash of course'. I get a reply that she doesn't accept cash from first time customers and could I go to the Petro Canada across the street and purchase a Mastercard prepaid card.
THEFUK NOPE ! I was outta there pronto.
So I'm trying to figure out what's the scam. How does it work? Something to do with the Perto Canada and the card? Maybe someone hanging out in there to snag my card info or something? Something else? Some bigass ape waiting to rob me in the elevator or at the apartment?
Anyone ever hear of this before?

Well for 1 thing lol - thats pornstar Sophia Leone in the photos, so definitely fake pics.
I doubt someone at the Petro was waiting to jump you or steal your card info. I say this because most gas stations have cameras/security and would prevent stuff like that from happening. Most likely they fucked up the scam and meant to ask you for a prepaid card ahead of time, and since you didnt have one they knew that gas station was near the fake incall.
Scam works by you giving them the #'s for the card and they immediately redeem it and then ghost you.

Yeah. This almost happened to a buddy of mine.
It was on the pretense that she needed the cards for her kid to keep them entertained in a nearby room while she and him did the dirty.
It was a few years ago so it's a bit hazy bit this is how I remember it. He bailed as soon as he was asked for the gift cards too but played along for a bit to try to find out what the scam was.
Near as he can figure, it was 13 year old kids trying to get codes for World of Warcraft or Fortnite gift cards.
